September 8th blog on web 2.0
Hackability has been a interesting topic for me as a relatively non-computer loving individual. The idea that some individual out there is obsessed with breaking into someone's web information just for the pure joy of doing so is crazy. People who go into the web and "cut out what they want" have either too much time on their hands, or are just lazy. Because what users of the web essentially want is "a rich experience", the idea that others get joy out of taking that away does not make sense. These individuals have cost companies vast amounts of money to protect against them, to only hire them later as advocates against other hackers. It is a win, win situation for the hacker. Law enforcement must learn how to make it a losing proposition, and take the joy out of it.
